Active Fire Shutters
Fire shutters are an essential component of fire safety systems in buildings and facilities, designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke throughout a building. They create a barrier that helps contain the fire to its point of origin, allowing occupants to evacuate safely and reducing property damage.
They are typically installed in openings such as windows, doorways, or vents. In the event of a fire, they can automatically closes off the opening and prevents the passage of fire and can help with the reduction of smoke. Constructed from fire-resistant materials such as steel. They are designed to withstand high temperatures and prevent flames from penetrating through the barrier.
Overall, fire shutters are an integral part of fire safety measures in buildings and must be installed, maintained, and tested according to regulations and industry standards to provide reliable protection in the event of a fire.
