Working with  Portview Fit Out from Northern Ireland, the A1S Group was contracted to manufacture, supply & install "A1S Flameshield 120 - 8524" fire curtains (active fire barrier) tested in accordance with BS EN 1634-1 2014 as required by BS 8524-1 2013.

The fire curtain specified is tested to 60 minutes integrity and 85 minutes radiation at 15Kw/m2 and is constructed from 1-hour fire rated fabric supported by a steel hood, end plates and 100mm steel guides. Operation is via 24Vdc tubular motor complete with integral limits and gravity failsafe as standard. And as always, the product is installed in accordance with BS 8524-2. Because of commercial considerations, an out of hours installation was agreed for this world famous jeweller.
