Sectional Overhead Doors

The A1S Group can provide service, repair and installation for Sectional loading bay doors.

Sectional doors are ideal for loading bay applications. Fitted over dock levellers on freezer bays and warehouse loading entrances.

A sectional door provides good insulation to the building opening. Each panel is typically a 610 mm deep x 40 mm thick composite panel.

The panel itself gives a “U” value of 0.45 W/m2 K, meaning that a typical 4,000 x 3,500 (W x H) door fitted and tested gives a “U” value of 0.9 W/m2 K when installed.

The insulated panels of the sectional door offer excellent weather resistance. The Standard finish of the sectional panel is stucco embossed primer coating to both faces. There is an extensive range of colours available. As standard the internal/external face is RAL 9010 white.

Control Options – The Sectional loading bay door is available in various control options.

Manual – Opening and closing operations are made easy via a compact geared Hand Chain mechanism. Controlled through the counter balanced torsion springs.

Electric – Typically operated, via a 415v, 3 phase geared electric motor with a built in safety thermal cut out switch. Fitted with either a low / high level or built on starter. With UP – DOWN and emergency STOP push button controls.

Automatic – The door can be installed fully automated with safety edge sensors incorporated into the bottom weather seal and safety photocells fitted within the threshold of the door opening.

Interlock – Sectional doors can be interlocked to work in conjunction with your other loading products, such as a Dock leveller, traffic lights or inflatable dock shelters. All sectional doors have Safety – cable and spring brake devices fitted as standard.
