The Flameshield FS240JM is a high-performance certified fire shutter designed specifically for rigid apertures, providing up to 240 minutes of fire protection and effective compartmentation. Fully compliant with BS EN 16034:2014, tested to BS EN 1634-1 and CE Marked.

The Flameshield FS240JM is operated via a key switch with a single-phase internal tubular motor and is automatically deployed on receiving a fire signal. It offers a smooth, controlled descent, with an optional 2-stage closing feature available via an audio-visual warning panel. A manual crank handle is also available for emergency operation during power loss.

Built with 76mm interlocking galvanised steel lath, galvanised steel guide rails, housing, mild steel end plates, and a T-section bottom rail. The Flameshield FS240JM is suitable for both face and reveal fix installations, can be polyester powder coated to any RAL or BS colour for seamless integration.
