Access Control

For many businesses, it’s crucial to have adequate access control systems in place. Access to and from site can be gained via a number of ways, such as:

Radio Transmitters – Transmitters are a great, convenient way to access your property remotely. This system is ideal for those who require access control from the comfort of their own vehicle. Another advantage is that there is no requirement for any visible access devices, which could be vandalised, such as a key-switch.

Intercom Access – Telephone entry systems are ideal for controlling access from a reception area. A wall-mountable, telephone handset device would be fitted in the reception area. The handset has an electronic call tone and a lock release facility. For releasing gate locks, electronic strike locks and mag-locks. The intercoms are generally powered via a 12Vac transformer. The externally-mounted door entry panel surround has a stainless steel facia cover with aluminium surround.

Card Readers – With a slimline design only 40mm deep, these card readers can be mounted on to a secured post or wall, in front of your gate, barrier or entrance door. Gaining access couldn’t be easier, as you simply present your card or key fob to the reader, then your gate/barrier is instantly opened.

Vehicle Induction Loops – Access control technology takes many different forms. In this instance, loops are set into the ground on one or both sides of the opening. The operator is activated open and closed when a vehicle passes over the magnetic loop.
