A1S were required to manufacture, supply, install and commission Flameshield 120 minutes fire curtains (active fire barrier) tested in accordance with BS EN 1634-1 as required by BS 8524-1 2013, tested to 120 minutes integrity and 85 minutes radiation to 15 kw/m2. Our products were selected by the Raddison Manchester because of the comprehensive cyclic testing programme as required by BS 8524-1 Annex D. Annex D verifies that fire curtains have had a minimum of 500 fully tested cycles, thus replicating the demands of a hotel environment during the life cycle of this critical life safety equipment.
