Kensal Green, London
A new landmark development of high quality apartments is to be constructed on the old Harrow Road filling station, Kensal Green. The elegant design of the block seems to pay homage to the bygone “Deco Era of Luxury Cruising” said Tony Laws, spokesman for Clearview Homes.
Not only is this a significant design, but Clearview are one of the UK’s leading exponents of the cutting edge building technique known as cellular clay block Thin Mortar Technology which we will be using in this development. This is a technique that has been used in Europe for around 30 years.
Keen to always be at the cutting edge of design and construction, Clearview Homes selected the A1S Group as the provider of Fire Curtains throughout the development.
The A1S Group are market leaders in both the manufacture and installation of high-performance fire shutters and we’ve brought that expertise into the introduction of our smart, new Flameshield fire curtain solutions which contain the harmful effects of smoke and fire for up to 4 hours, an industry leading fire rating.
The curtains will protect twenty new spacious homes, which will make provision for a proportion of affordable rented accommodation for the area.
